Lifestyle Loves | Entry 1

Hello friends!

We have a little announcement to make and we are so excited about it! We have decide to start a new series called Lifestyle Loves!

Every Wednesday we will post some of our favorite things we have been loving for the past week. Whether its beauty, fashion, travel, health, food or home decor we will share whatever we have been loving with all of you! We are always on the hunt for new fun things that make our lives just a little bit better and maybe easier and maybe just more enjoyable too :)

This past week I have discovered some new products that I'm dying to share!

Let's start with beauty and wellness.

Radiant Glow Face Oil

As of late, i've been on the hunt for really natural good quality skincare with minimal and safe ingredients. Through a little bit of research I came across the brand Derma E and let me tell you I love what this company is all about! They strive for sustainability and have amazing ingredients in every product! Their products are non GMO, cruelty free and 100% vegan as well!! Who doesn't love that! Anyways, I ended up purchasing their radiant glow face oil for my dry skin and in just a day my skin looks so much more supple and hydrated! So far so good, and frankly, I can't get enough!

Sweet Orange Essential Oil

The next product I have been loving is super simple. Sweet Orange essential oil. I love diffusing (click here for my favorite diffuser) just this and it makes my home smell so good! The smell of citrus is just uplifting and motivating. if you're into essential oils or want to give it a try this one is great for a mood lifter and refresher!

Now let's move on to food...

Vegan Banana Bread Recipe

As some of you may know I have been eating a plant based diet for over two years now and love it! So this last week when my bananas ended up being a little too brown for me to eat (and by a little I mean a lot) I thought I better make some banana bread! So I took to pinterest and literally found the BEST vegan banana bread recipe ever. And its pretty healthy, well healthier then your typical banana bread. The only thing I did differently was add pecans instead of walnuts and add dairy free chocolate chips. SO STICKIN GOOD. For the full recipe click HERE.

Okay let's talk fashion! This week I have two favorite type of pants to share.

Vintage Levi's

If you follow us on Instagram you may have seen us vintage shopping and stumble across vintage Levi jeans for $15 bucks! I got two pairs and have been living in them! Vintage levi jeans are so on trend right now that they are sold at urban outfitters and online at revolve. Levi's are always so comfy and SO flattering. These will be an all time favorite of mine for sure.

Super Soft Joggers

Another favorite pant is one I discovered randomly when I was shopping at the Mall of America. My sister was on the hunt for some lingerie for a friend who was having a bridal shower last weekend so we bopped right into Aerie, which is the lingerie and pajama branch of American Eagle. As soon as I walked in I saw the most amazing pair of joggers that were the softest thing I had ever felt. The beauty of these joggers is that they can totally be dressed up or down. I'm currently wearing them right now with a linen blouse and loafers, but tomorrow I'll be chillin' in them with a tee shirt and flip flops. They are truly so comfy and they come in multiple colors. I purchased the "true black" color but to me they are much more navy/greyish.  I might have to get them in every color!

Last but not least, home decor favorites!

Vintage Style Rugs

We can't get enough of that vintage style distressed rug that looks so very Parisian! We both have this style rug in our homes and we think they are just gorgeous and so elegant. You can find these at almost any rug shop these days because they are super on trend but we also feel they are a timeless look that will never go out!

Here are our own vintage style rugs in our homes..

This last favorite might seem a bit vague but we will explain... We have been loving textures!

Texture in home decor is our current obsession. We love chunky cable knit style blankets, textured pillows, faux fur, reclaimed wood, woven baskets, anything texture we are loving! Texture really brings a unique and cozy element to any room.

Here are a couple examples of fun texture within our homes!
